The Autonics proximity switch PSN30-10AC features outstanding noise protection and stable sensing performance due to its specialized sensor IC developed by Autonics. Body

This Autonics proximity sensor’s case and nut parts are made of Heat-resistant ABS. 

The PSN30-10AC features IP67 ingress protection.

The red LED on its body acts as the process indicator.

Connection

The Autonics proximity switch PSN30-10AC features standard cable type connection. This black cable covers the sensor’s 2 wires. It is 5 mm in diameter and 2 meters in length.

Sensing specifications

This inductive sensor’s frame size is 30mm. The maximum distance that this Autonics PS Series sensor can detect its standard sensing target, which is a 30×30×1 mm piece of iron, is 10 mm. This so-called sensing distance differs from one sensing target to another, based on their material, size, etc.

Although almost no one talks about the setting distance of an inductive sensor, it is a big deal to know this concept. Every sensor can detect its standard sensing target in a specified range, no matter what changes occur in ambient temperature, voltage fluctuations, etc. This distance, which is called the setting distance, is from 0 to 7 mm for this proximity sensor.
