Embeddable (flush), M8 3-pin, 1.5 mm sensing distance

The Contrinex proximity sensor DW-AS-623-M5 features outstanding noise protection and stable sensing performance due to its specialized sensor IC developed by Contrinex. This sensor comes in a round cylindrical shape, sensing distance of 1.5mm, sensing side diameter and housing size is Ø 6.5, and shield (flush) installation. The standard cylindrical inductive sensor can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects.

Body

This Contrinex proximity sensor’s case and nut parts are made of Stainless-steel V2A and its sensing side is made of PA66.

The DW-AS-602-065-001 features IP67 ingress protection.

The LED on its body acts as the process indicator.

Connection

The Contrinex M6.5 proximity sensor DW-AS-602-065-001 features a potted connector S8 connection. It is a 3-pin M8 electrical connection.

Sensing specifications

This inductive sensor’s sensing side diameter is Ø 6.5. This sensor’s maximum distance to detect its standard sensing target, which is a 6.5×6.5×1 mm piece of iron, is 1.5 mm. This M6.5 proximity sensor also features 0.07 mm repeat accuracy.
