Cylindrical, with long sensing distance, cable connector type

The PRDWT30-25DC proximity sensor features long sensing distances and excellent noise immunity with a specialized sensor IC developed by Autonics. The cable connector type sensor offers easier maintenance and wiring work. This high performance cylindrical inductive sensor can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects. The sensors also feature strain relief cables for improved flexural strength and durability.

This inductive proximity sensor provides:

• Built-in surge protection circuit, reverse polarity protection circuit, and overcurrent protection circuits
• Simple operation, reliable performance, and high durability
• Operation indicator (red LED)
• Strain relief cables which are improved flexural strength of cable connecting component
• IP67 protection structure (IEC standard)

Body

The PRDWT30-25DC case is made of nickel-plated brass, its washer is made of nickel-plated iron, and the material of its sensing side is PBT.

Protection structure of this proximity sensor is IP67 (IEC standard).

This sensor has a red LED as the operation indicator on its body.

Connection

Connection of the PRDWT30-25DC is cable connector type which includes a 2-wire cable and a M12 connector. This standard cable is made of PVC.

Sensing specifications

The diameter of the PRDWT30-25DC sensing side is 30 mm. Its sensing distance is 25 mm and its setting distance is 0 to 17.5 mm. This proximity sensor’s standard sensing target is a 75x75x1 mm piece made of iron.

Control output

The control output of this product is Normally closed.

There are limitations in environment temperature and humidity in which PRDWT30-25DC proximity sensor is used:
