Autonics inductive proximity sensor PRDL18-14DN
Cylindrical, NPN Normally Open, Cable Type
The PRDL18-14DN cylindrical inductive sensor features long sensing distances and excellent noise immunity with a specialized sensor IC developed by Autonics. The connector type sensor offers easier maintenance and wiring work. This high performance cylindrical inductive sensor can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects. The PRDL18-14DN is available in DC 3-wire type.

Body
The PRDL18-14DN long body size case is made of nickel-plated brass, its washer is made of nickel-plated iron, and the material of its sensing side is PBT.
Protection structure of this Autonics proximity sensor is IP67 (IEC standard).
This sensor has a red LED as the operation indicator on its body.
Connection
Connection of the PRDL18-14DN is Cable Type, which contains a cable covering its 3 wires.This standard cable is black and made of PVC.
Sensing specifications
The diameter of the PRDL18-14DN sensing side is 18 mm and its sensing distance is 14 mm. Although almost no one talks about the setting distance of an inductive sensor, it should be announced that for this sensor, it is 0 to 9.8 mm.
Also, it should always be considered that this data is reported for the secure and standard sensing target, which is an 40x40x1 mm piece made of iron, for this product.
Control output

There are limitations in environment temperature and humidity in which PRDL18-14DN proximity sensor is used:

Environment resistance is rated at no freezing or condensation.
It’s better not to use this product outside of these ranges, in order to keep it stable.
