The Autonics proximity sensor PRCM12-4DP features outstanding noise protection and stable sensing performance due to its specialized sensor IC developed by Autonics. This PNP NO proximity sensor comes in a round cylindrical shape, sensing distance of 4mm, sensing side diameter and housing size of m12 and Non-shield (non-flush) installation. The standard cylindrical inductive sensor can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects.

Body
This Autonics PNP NO proximity sensor’s case and nut parts are made of nickel-plated brass, its sensing side is made of PBT, and its washer is nickel plated iron made.
The PRCM12-4DP features IP67 ingress protection.
The red LED on its body acts as the process indicator.
Connection
The PRCM12-4DP features standard cable type connection. This black cable covers the sensor’s 3 wires.
Sensing specifications
This inductive PNP NO proximity sensor’s sensing side diameter is 12 mm. The maximum distance that this sensor can detect its standard sensing target, which is a 12x12x1 mm piece of iron, is 5 mm. This so-called sensing distance differs from one sensing target to another, based on their material, size, etc.
Although almost no one talks about the setting distance of an inductive sensor, it is a big deal to know this concept.
