The Contrinex high pressure proximity sensor DW-AD-503-P8 features outstanding noise protection and stable sensing performance due to its specialized sensor IC developed by Contrinex. This sensor comes in a round cylindrical shape, sensing distance of 1.5mm, sensing side diameter and housing size of M8, and shield (flush) installation. The standard cylindrical inductive sensor can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects.

Body
This Contrinex high pressure proximity sensor’s case and nut parts are made of Stainless-steel V4A.
The DW-AD-503-P8 features IP68 ingress protection.
The LED on its body acts as the process indicator.
Connection
The Contrinex M8 proximity switch DW-AD-503-P8 features standard cable type connection. This cable covers the sensor’s 3 wires. It is 2 meters in length, and is made of PUR.
Sensing specifications
This inductive sensor’s sensing side diameter is 8 mm. This sensor’s maximum distance to detect its standard sensing target is 1.5 mm. This so-called sensing distance differs from one sensing target to another, based on their material, size, etc. You could find out the sensing distance in Contrinex proximity sensors with a correction factor, mentioned in their datasheet.
Control output
The DW-AD-503-P8 features PNP Normally Open control output. PNP stands for Positive-Negative-Positive transistors.
Temperature
The ambient temperature range that the DW-AD-503-P8 M8 proximity switch works properly in is -25 … 70°C and 70 … 100°C.
