The DAT5021 converter is made to output a voltage or current signal whose value is proportional to the normalized signal applied to its input. After opening the appropriate door, which is positioned on the side of the device, the user can configure the input and output ranges using the appropriate DIP-switches.

The ZERO and SPAN potentiometers on the device’s top control the values for Zero and Span.

The Datexel converter can be used in harsh environmental circumstances seen in industrial applications because of the 2000V isolation between the input, power supply, and output, which avoids the impact of any ground loops that may eventually emerge.

The DAT5021 offers an additional supply source for connecting active and passive current loops on the input side. Additionally, it offers an auxiliary supply source on the output side to connect both active and passive loads.

This temperature transmitter is encased in a plastic enclosure that is 12.5 mm thickness and appropriate for DIN rail mounting in accordance with EN-50022 and EN-50035 requirements. It was built in accordance with Directive 2004/108/EC on the Electromagnetic Compatibility.
