Body

This proximity sensor’s case and nut parts are made of nickel-plated brass, its sensing side is made of PBT, and its washer is nickel plated iron made.

The PR08-2DP2 features IP67 ingress protection.

Connection

The Autonics proximity switch NC PR08-2DP2 features standard cable type connection. This black cable covers the sensor’s 3 wires. It is 4 mm in diameter and 2 meters in length, and is made of PVC.

Sensing specifications

This inductive sensor’s sensing side diameter is 8 mm. The maximum distance that this sensor can detect its standard sensing target, which is an 8×8×1 mm piece of iron, is 2 mm. This so-called sensing distance differs from one sensing target to another, based on their material, size, etc.
