Application


The Cerabar PMC51 digital pressure transmitter, equipped with a capacitive, oil-free ceramic sensing cell, is ideal for use in both process and hygienic applications, providing accurate pressure, level, volume, or mass measurements in liquids and gases. Its vacuum-resistant ceramic membrane, featuring integrated breakage detection, ensures a high level of system safety. The Quick Setup function with an adjustable measuring range facilitates easy commissioning, saving both time and costs. This device is SIL2 certified according to IEC 61508 / IEC 61511.

The transmitter is available with a single chamber housing made of either aluminum or stainless steel (316L).

Process Connections: Available with threaded, flanged, or hygienic connections.
Process Temperature: Ranges from -40 to +130°C (-40 to +266°F), with a capability of 150°C (302°F) for up to 1 hour.
Measuring Ranges: From -1/0 up to +40 bar (-15/0 to +600 psi).
Accuracy: ±0.1%, or “Platinum” ±0.075%.
Certifications: International explosion protection certificates, SIL, hygienic approvals, marine approvals.
