The Contrinex high protection proximity sensor DW-AS-623-M5 features outstanding noise protection and stable sensing performance due to its specialized sensor IC developed by Contrinex. This sensor comes in a round cylindrical shape, sensing distance of 10mm, sensing side diameter and housing size of M18, and shield (flush) installation. The standard cylindrical inductive sensor can be used in diverse applications requiring non-contact detection of metallic objects.

Body
This Contrinex high protection proximity sensor’s case and nut parts are made of Stainless-steel V4A and its sensing side is made of V4A.
The DW-LD-703-M18 features IP 68, IP 69K ingress protection.
The LED on its body acts as the process indicator.
Connection
The Contrinex high protection proximity sensor DW-LD-703-M18 features standard cable type connection. This cable covers the sensor’s 3 wires. It is 2 meters in length, and is made of TPE-S.
Sensing specifications
This inductive sensor’s sensing side diameter is 18 mm. This sensor’s maximum distance to detect its standard sensing target, which is a 30x30x1 mm,FE360 piece of iron, is 10 mm. This so-called sensing distance differs from one sensing target to another, based on their material, size, etc. You could find out the sensing distance in Contrinex proximity sensors with a correction factor, mentioned in their datasheet.
This washdown M18 proximity sensor also features ≤ 0.3 mm repeat accuracy.
